No Kelly, Ziggy, and Lucy
Don't know if the government will let you read this or not. If you can the government allowed this to be posted. Interesting...

On December 6th 1983...
...the love of my life was born on what we've heard to be a super cold day in Wilson, NC. I was 9 months old in Cary, NC completely unaware of the importance if the day!
Flash forward to December 4th, 2008 when I was informed that the 12 days of David had commenced.
Today is David's 25th birthday!! Happy Birthday David! It has been a low-key day, but he has certainly spent it doing exactly what makes him happy. We went to breakfast bright and early this morning and when we came home I made his requested birthday dessert of Chocolate Chess Pie. I didn't know until today that it is his favorite dessert. It's amazing that I didn't know that. We went to an Italian Grocer where David picked out fresh pasta and their house made Bolognese Sauce. We also got a Brushetta bread. I prepared these for dinner and it was all delicious. It was such a great idea on his part. Cheaper than going out to eat, but still very easy preparation.
I want to say thank you to big David and Diana for the creation of their son. I would be lost without him.

Thanksgiving, oh Thanksgiving!
We hope that everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and long weekend! Our's was perfect (save the fact that we didn't get to share it with our families!). I started cooking bright and early and we ate at about 1:00. Everything turned out as I planned and below is David's plate. It was all so yummy and we have nearly finished all of the leftovers!

Happy 3rd Birthday William and Carson!!
Big Game Number 111
Saturday was what they call "The Big Game", where Cal and Stanford play. It was a home game for Cal this year so we went and watched as Cal whooped Stanford. It was lots of fun and the most gorgeous day.
Below is the half time show where the band did cheesy 90's music. It was amusing.

Update
Well, ladies and gentlemen, it has been a stressful couple of months, not knowing what the future holds for me, but as of last Sunday, I HAVE A JOB!! I will start on January 5th of the new year. Not only am I excited that I will no longer be unemployed, but I am ecstatic about the family I will be working for. They are the Van Lyndes, and consist of parents, Russell and Renske, and little girls, Myla and Anneke (they will be 4 and 2 in February). They live in the Berkeley hills, so no more going through the tunnel every day! YEA! A huge weight has been taken off of my shoulders just in time to really be able to enjoy the holiday season.
David and I are planning to have our first homemade Thanksgiving dinner together as a couple. We are very excited and will post pictures of how things did or didn't turn out! Some friends of ours are going out to eat their big meal and then doing desserts and coffee at their house, so we will join them for that. As usual, all signs point to gaining 5 pounds in one day! I hope that everyone has a wonderful Turkey (or Tofurkey) Day, and look forward to hearing everyone's plans.

Hello friends and family!!
We are still alive and well, though it has been over a month since I last posted! Things have been a little different, and not as stable in some ways, which caused the blog to suffer, but hopefully I have caught you up on some of the goings on below.
Another thing which has somewhat hindered my blogging is the fact that I pulled out my old 35mm Pentax (that's right. it uses FILM!) that I saved up money to buy when I was in high school. I have had fun exploring what a great picture it takes, but have not had the motivation to scan any of the photos onto the computer. Maybe one day!
David is still pushing through with his school. It is hard to believe that in a little over a year he will be done! I think we will all breathe a sigh of relief when that happens.
The cats are hilarious and bring us so much enjoyment. It is hard to imagine what our lives would be like without them. Much more mundane! Ziggy has gained alot of his kitten-like qualities back trying to keep up with Lucy, and for the most part (except at the food bowls) has maintained his dominance in the house.
As many of you know the wedding planning is coming along. The big day is only 7 months away! It seems like the past year and a half have flown by, and now we are getting down to the nitty gritty!
I hope everyone out there is well. We are so looking forward to being home for a bit in December and seeing all the loving faces that we miss so dearly.
